Common Business Mini Page launch mistakes
Placeholder copy, stock photos, outdated hours, and too many CTAs. Four traps to avoid before publish.

A half-finished page can hurt more than no page — it burns trust.
Four traps
- Placeholder or vague copy
- Photos that aren’t yours
- Outdated hours and phone numbers
- Equal-weight CTAs with no primary path
Before publishing, read the page like a stranger. If core questions stay unanswered, it’s not ready.
Ask for an independent pre-launch review
Someone who did not write the page is more likely to spot confusing gaps. Ask them to find the main service, price or pricing method, response time, and contact path without your guidance. Then test every link and form on a phone, including the success message. Remove placeholder photos, sample text, and inaccurate hours. Assign every remaining issue an owner and deadline; a checklist without ownership rarely gets done. Continue with the first-week review after publishing.
