Owner account security basics

Strong password, limited access, and caution with links. Your page is a digital asset.
Owner account security basics

If someone reaches the owner account, they can change content, bookings, or contact details.

Minimums

  • A unique, strong password
  • Don’t share access with people who don’t need it
  • Avoid suspicious “log into panel” links
  • Sign out on shared devices

Security is part of customer trust — as important as how the page looks.

Grant only the access people need

Give each teammate a separate account instead of sharing one password in messages. Limit publishing, customer-data, and billing access to the people who need each capability. Enable two-factor authentication where available and store recovery methods safely. Remove a departing teammate's access the same day; changing a shared password alone may not be enough. Review users and active sessions monthly. During a website handoff, verify ownership of the domain and key accounts too.
